Jason Fitzgerald

Jason M. Fitzgerald is President and a Partner with Penn Strategies. His duties include overseeing projects, marketing the company to potential clients, and assisting clients with governmental and regulatory agencies.

Fitzgerald graduated from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 2005, where he earned a degree in Political Science with a Minor in Economics. While at Lock Haven University, Fitzgerald was active in student government and was awarded the prestigious “Outstanding Student Leader on Campus Award” in his senior year.

Prior to joining Penn Strategies, Fitzgerald was a top aide to Representative Steve Cappelli (R-Williamsport) and worked for Impact Advertising a national marketing and public relations firm.

Fitzgerald is a close political advisor to numerous elected officials including Mayors, County Commissioners, and United States Congressmen. He has also served as a consultant for numerous local, state and federal political campaigns.

Previously, Fitzgerald served as Pennsylvania State Coordinator for the Count on Coal campaign in Pennsylvania, a grassroots effort to inform the public about the important role that coal plays in electricity generation.  He also serves as Pennsylvania State Director for the National Association of Home Builders campaign to increase awareness of the importance of home building on the overall health of the economy.

Currently, Fitzgerald serves as an economic development consultant for numerous municipalities and authorities throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  He specializes in community planning, funding solutions, and community branding campaigns.

Fitzgerald is a former Township Supervisor and member of the Williamsport Parking Authority.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership and the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army.  He lives in the East End section of Williamsport and has two children.
