Indriago Lights Out in Cutters Win

Cutters Postgame Recap

Williamsport, PA — Carlos Indriago was perfect over four innings of relief as he and the Cutters get the 4-1 win over the Batavia Muckdogs on Saturday night. The Cutters, at 6-0, remain the only team in the New York-Penn League that have yet to lose a game at home this season.

The Muckdogs jumped out to an early lead, plating the games first run in the top of the 1st inning against Cutters starter Julian Garcia to take a 1-0 lead. That would be the only run the Muckdogs would score, as the Cutters bullpen keep the Batavia bats silent.

The Cutters added two more runs, getting a run in the bottom of the 6th as Luke Maglich collected his team-leading 6th RBI after being hit by a pitch with the bases load to plate Enmanuel Garcia to extend the Cutters lead to 3-1.

Williamsport got their final run in the bottom of the eight, as a two-out throwing error by Batavia shortstop Samuel Castro allowed Henri Lartigue to score and give the Cutters their 4-1 lead.

Tyler Hallead and Will Hibbs picked up where Indriago left off, working the final three innings of shutout relief. Hallead picked up his first hold of the season, tossing two shutout frames. Hibbs tossed a shutout 9th inning to earn his first professional save of the season.
