Cutters catcher Henri Lartigue’s third double of the night came with two-on and two out and the Crosscutters down to their last strike. The double plated a pair to tie the game. Williamsport would use that momentum to pick up a 5-4 win in 11 innings over the Lake Monsters.
Henri Lartigue finished the night 3-for-5 with three doubles and two RBI to help the Cutters earn the win. David Martinelli extended his hitting streak to 12 games with an RBI single in the 3rd inning. Evan Rogers scored the go-ahead run on a Mark Laird sacrifice fly to left after leading off the 11th with his first triple of the season.
Adonis Medina took a no-decision, going five innings ad allowing a season-high three runs, all of which were earned. The right-hander also allowed his first home run of the season.
Kenny Koplove tossed a pair of shutout innings of relief, while Grant Dyer was magnificent. Dyer tossed three straight perfect innings of relief to earn his 2nd win of the season.
The Cutters improve to 3-1 in extra innings games, and win their first extra innings game on the road.
