Lycoming County – Lycoming County Resource Management Services appreciates your patience and
understanding as we all navigate COVID-19 together.
As per County Commissioners’ orders, the Landfill and Transfer Station WILL REOPEN TO THE PUBLIC (FOR WASTE ONLY) STARTING FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 2020, AND WILL BE OPEN ON SATURDAYS AGAIN.
As we reopen to the public, please be advised to the following rules of operation:
1. Our employees will not handle any waste
2. Customers must unload their own waste
3. Customers are requested to wear safety masks while on-site
4. Appliances, TVs, Computers, and tires will still be accepted as they were prior to the shutdown.
The Lycoming County Landfill located on Alexander Drive in Montgomery is open Monday through
Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 7:00 am until 12:00 pm noon.
The Lycoming County Transfer Station located on West Third Street in Williamsport is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm and Saturday from 7:00 am until 12:00 pm noon.
Recycling operations are still shutdown at this time until further notice.
