On Friday afternoon the Lycoming County Board of Commissioners, pursuant to the Declaration of Disaster Emergency signed by the on March 16, 2020 issued a directive for Lycoming County Government moving it to “CRITICAL MISSION ESSENTIAL STAFFING ONLY” status from Monday, April 5, 2020 through Saturday, April 18, 2020.
In order to provide Critical Essential Services Only to the public.
Where practical, Departments have been instructed to reduce staff to the absolute minimum for those who are required to report to county facilities.
In general, Critical Essential Services are identified as follows:
911 Center, Courts, Law Enforcement, Prison, Sheriff, Department of Public Safety, Coroner Maintenance and Resource Management Services.
Residents should call the servicing office they wish to do business with to identify what services can be accessed online or accomplished over the phone.
