News Talk 104.1 has confirmed with Lycoming County Coroner Charles Kiessling a second COVID-19 related death in Lycoming County on Friday.
This second COVID-19 death has not appeared on the Department of Health daily report to date.
Both COVID-19 related deaths in Lycoming County have been in nursing home residents.
Funeral arrangements are pending for both decedents.
Earlier today, the Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., May 1, there are 1,334 new Positives Bringing the state total to 48,305 with 2,418 total deaths.

Columbia County – 290, 13 total deaths
Northumberland County – 98 (added 3 cases Friday)
Montour County – 49 (added 1 case Friday)
Lycoming County – 81 (added 10 cases Friday), 2 deaths added Friday
Union County – 38 (added 1 case Friday)
Bradford County – 35 (added 2 cases Friday), 2 deaths
Clinton County – 34 (added 2 cases Friday)
Tioga County – 16, 1 death
Potter County – 4
Sullivan County – 1
Combined, there are now 646 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 18 deaths in the region.
The Department of Health also reported a total of 187,071 negatives.
