URGENT: Lycoming County now with 12 COVID-19 cases, Columbia County reports first death in 10-county region

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., April 7, that there are 1,579 Positives Bringing the state total to 14,559 with 240 deaths.

Columbia County reported the first death in the 10 county region around Lycoming County on Monday.

Local counties as noted below that have at least one positive COVID-19 case confirmed and updated cases provided.

Montour County – 27 (revised down 6 cases Monday)

Columbia County – 42 (added 16 cases Monday), first death reported on Monday

Northumberland County – 22 (added 7 cases Monday)

Bradford County – 14 (added 4 cases Monday)

Lycoming County – 12 (added 2 cases Monday)

Potter County – 3 (revised down 5 cases Monday)

Union County – 7 (added 1 case Monday)

Clinton County – 3

Tioga County – 10 (added 7 cases Monday)

Sullivan County – 1

Combined, there are now 144 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the region.
