Weis Markets issues guidance following the updated order from Gov. Wolf

Weis Markets issued guidance on Saturday, following the updated order from Governor Wolf.

To our valued PA customers: Effective Monday April 20th at 7 AM.

The Pennsylvania’s Department of Health, as mandated by the Governor, has issued additional store regulations which Weis Markets must follow:

– All customers must wear some form of face covering including disposable and reusable face masks (surgical and non-surgical). We require all store associates to wear these as well. Per Pennsylvania law, we cannot serve a customer who is not wearing some form of face covering.

– The number of customers in our stores is limited at any one time to 50 percent of their maximum capacity. These limits may vary by location.

– Weis associates will be at the entrance of our stores to monitor and manage this process and we have designated separate entrances and exits.

– Some checkout lanes are to be unmanned for social distancing regulations along with for customers to wait in line to pay for their groceries, keeping 6 feet social distancing CDC guidelines.

– Seniors and compromised immune systems customers, Each and Every Tuesday, we will open early to allow you to shop from 6:00 A.M. to 7:00 A.M. Like every Tuesday, all seniors will continue to get their 10% discount which is good on more than 6,000 Weis brand items.

Thank you for continued support, our associates are working hard to stock the shelves and keep our stores clean and sanitized.
