According to his social media accounts Mansfield University Men’s Basketball Coach Rich Miller is stepping down.
From his Facebook account, “After 18 years as a part of Mansfield University Basketball, the last 10 as the Head Coach, today I will be stepping aside and moving into a new position.
It has been a more than just a job. It has been the only career and lifestyle I have ever know.
However, it’s time.
I want to thank everyone: especially the players who I had an opportunity to teach, counsel, mentor, and coach; My assistant coaches, fellow coaches, and staff at Mansfield; those who gave me the opportunity at Mansfield many years ago; my friends in the Community; and most importantly, my team, my family…Julie Miller, Ellie, Evan, and Joshua.
Words cannot describe my feelings right now. But, I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life. I have no regrets…my time at Mansfield has been an incredibly positive experience filled with success.
I thank you all.”
