News Talk 104.1 reached out to Governor Wolf on Wednesday evening seeking comment on the PA Post report of the veto intentions for SB 613 which was passed earlier in the day by the PA Senate.
Press Secretary for Governor Wolf, Lyndsay Kensinger, offered the following response:
“The governor plans to veto SB 613. As the administration has stated many times, irresponsibly going against the direction of the Secretary of Health and reopening businesses too early will only extend the length of the economic hardships created by the pandemic.”
Earlier Wednesday, Secretary of Health, Dr. Rachel Levine provided the Senate a letter of caution and warning in regard to reopening the economy ahead of the peak of COVID-19 cases. 04.15.20 – RLL letter to Senators

Later that afternoon, News Talk 104. asked Governor Wolf if legislation was offered to reopen the economy, would he sign it? His response is provided below:
With the veto of SB 613 the PA House and PA Senate go back to the drawing board for a legislative solution on this issue.
