The Williamsport Crosscutters, Class-A Short Season affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, have announced the schedule for their 2015 season that will include 38 home games against nine different New York-Penn League opponents at Susquehanna Bank Park.
The Crosscutters open the season on the road against the defending NYPL Champion State College Spikes, on Friday, June 19. The Cutters home opener is slated for Saturday, June 20 at 7:05pm against the Spikes. The season concludes with a September 7 (Labor Day) home game with State College.
The Crosscutters will host the New York-Penn League’s newest addition, the West Virginia Black Bears, June 22-24. The team relocated to Morgantown, WV from Jamestown, NY following the 2014 season.
Game times remain the same as in previous seasons with all Monday-Saturday home contests starting at 7:05pm and Sunday home games starting at 5:05pm. The only exception is a 1:05pm game time for the season finale on September 7.
Once again this season, all Cutters games, home and away, will be broadcast on Talk Williamsport1050AM & 104.1FM plus affiliates on the Crosscutters Radio Network. Broadcasts will also be streamed online at crosscutters.com.
Opening Night 2015 and all Saturday home dates will again feature fireworks after the game. The club’s preliminary promotional schedule will be announced at a later date.
