Crosscutters Looking for Community Service Project

The Williamsport Crosscutters are looking for community service projects for players in and around the Williamsport area this summer.

During the 2015 season, each Crosscutters player is required to perform a minimum number of hours of service to the community as part of the Philadelphia Phillies “Step Up” program which began in 2012.

“Our players have always gotten out in the community to senior center, kids camps and many other locations,” said Cutters Vice-President Gabe Sinicropi.  “While our players continue to do those appearances, they are in addition to the community service projects as part of the “Step Up” program.”

Non-profit or community organizations that could use assistance with any project are encouraged to contact Sarah Budd, the Crosscutters Director of Community Relations, at (570) 326-3389 or sarah@crosscutters.com.  Requests are considered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to the Cutters game schedule.

Opening Night 2015, presented by Susquehanna Bank & KISS 102-7 takes place on Saturday, June 20 and will feature a schedule magnet giveaway for the first 2,500 fans in attendance, and a post-game fireworks show.

Season tickets, bonus books, group packages and single game tickets are currently available and can be purchased online at Crosscutters.com/Tickets or by calling the Cutters Hotline at (570) 326-3389.
