In a joint on-air announcement during the Williamsport Crosscutters game tonight Talk Williamsport1600 and WXPI-FM 88.5 announced a working partnership between the two stations.
Jersey Shore High School football games will be broadcast by Talk Williamsport1600 and simulcast on WXPI-FM 88.5 as a service to the community.
According to Warren Earl, WXPI-FM 88.5 Program Director, “this is an opportunity for two great media organizations to bring a great local product to an even bigger audience and serve the local community at the same time.”
The longtime voices of Bulldogs football Ed Brown and Steve Lehman will return this fall.
Every game can also be heard online at stream 6 of Fox SportsWilliamsport.com.
Talk Williamsport1600, General Manager Todd Bartley stated, “any time we can expand the broadcast opportunities for our local schools, colleges and universities we are all in! The conversations that we are having with WXPI indicate this is only the beginning.”
