Talk Williamsport continues online platforms record growth

As previously reported in September, new record highs were reached in online listening and viewing of local content provided on all of the digital platforms offered by Talk Williamsport.

This past weekend, those previous records fell by nearly double the amount of online listeners.

With the addition of the free streams App to the already huge numbers attained with the tunein app, this past weekend showed that fans want real time access to their teams.

“We originated events on radio and online that ranged from high school football playoff games to every level of college basketball including the Division I game with Saint Francis at Ohio State in women’s basketball”, according to Talk Williamsport Owner and General Manager Todd Bartley.

The platforms included live audio streams on talkwilliamsport.com, TuneIn listeners (free app) as well as the tape delay online television broadcast on Fox SportsWilliamsport.tv.

Since September of 2012, Talk Williamsport has enjoyed more than 180,000 online listener hours. Plus more than 83,000 unique visitors and more than 407,000 page views to its online platforms and growing every day.

“For a smaller company like ours to be able to deliver like this for the fans, schools and advertising partners is a testament to the hard work put in by our staff on a daily basis”, Bartley added.
