During a Thursday afternoon press conference, Pennsylvania Secretary of Health, Dr. Rachel Levine answered questions, several of which were posed by News Talk 104.1. The following responses were provided through a spokesperson.
Question: Sec. Levine, Little League is discussing getting back on the field in the weeks to come, what guidance can you provide on the possibility of games being played as early as May?
“Thanks for your questions. We all look forward to when we can return to activities like watching amateur sports. Right now, our focus needs to remain on stopping the spread of this virus and continuing our social distancing efforts. As we move forward, it will be possible to have conversations regarding the feasibility of whether these events are possible.”
