In light of the exclusive report yesterday on the way COVID-19 deaths are being reported by the Department of Health, the daily briefing normally held at 2:00 p.m. with Secretary of Health, Dr. Rachel Levine will not happen at that time.
From Maggi Mumma, spokesperson for the Department of Health; “There will not be the typical 2 p.m. presser today with Dr. Levine. This noon update will serve as that update for the time being. Please stay tuned for advisories to come for later today.”
It appears the daily briefing will be later today to provide an update on the coronavirus known as COVID-19 and efforts to mitigate the virus in Pennsylvania.
News Talk 104.1 has reason to believe Governor Wolf may also be making public comments during this event.
Lycoming County Coroner will most likely be joining News Talk 104.1 later today for a follow-up interview on developments in this story.
