Williamsport, PA — Former longtime Montgomery High School coach Craig Weaver, Sr. (photo courtesy: cu.sungazette.com) has joined Talk WilliamsportRadio Williamsport as a girls basketball and softball analyst.
“To be able to add a coach of the caliber of Craig Weaver, Sr. along with the depth and breadth of knowledge and passion for the game was an absolute no-brainer for us, according to Talk WilliamsportRadio Williamsport, General Manager Todd Bartley.
Weaver coached Basketball for 29 years posting an overall record of (459-290) winning 4 District Titles, making an Eastern Final appearance while winning 9 League Titles.
His softball resume includes 7 years, posting a (96-51) mark winning a District IV Title and making a State Final Appearance.
On the tennis court over 15 years he compiled a record (220-73) garnering 6 League Titles in that time.
Over his nearly 30 year career Weaver coached countless numbers of all-conference, all-district and all-state selections.
“It has been so gratifying to work with student/athletes for the past 38 years and to see them raise the bar higher than they thought they ever could and be successful.”, Weaver stated.
