Talk Williamsport becomes the official voice of Knights Hockey (NAHL) beginning with the inaugural 2015 season. “We are extremely excited about our new partnership with Talk Williamsport.”

“The partnership with Talk Williamsport will provide full exposure of our NAHL Team in its first year. This is such a valuable way for us to introduce this extremely high level of Junior Hockey to North Eastern PA. This relationship allows the Knights to market and promote our team and individual players using a fantastic platform. We are looking forward to a great season of terrific hockey. ” commented Head Coach Tom Kowal.

Tim Mullhaupt joined Talk Williamsport in September of 2015. His role encompasses home play-by-play duties for the Scranton Knights NAHL team.

“With our experience with first year teams and programs it was a great fit to help the Knights get the great news out about a team on the rise in the NAHL. To be able to add Tim Mullhaupt as the team broadcaster coming off a storied college hockey play-by-play career at storied Oswego State is an absolute bonus for both organizations. To watch him pursue his dream along with the dreams of the Knights players is very rewarding.”, according to Todd Bartley, Owner of Talk Williamsport.

A member of SUNY Oswego’s graduating class of 2015, Mullhaupt devoted himself to covering both collegiate and professional sports. Most recently he acted as the Sports Director of WNYO, a student radio station at Oswego State, as well as serving as the station’s play-by-play voice for the highly-ranked men’s hockey program. In his senior year he was able to expand radio coverage of men’s basketball as well as women’s hockey and basketball. In prior roles, he served as a studio host, analyst and producer covering all four of the aforementioned sports.

Over the past two years Mullhaupt hosted and co-hosted both weekly and daily radio talk shows covering national sports, as well as those local to central New York. He also spent time working as a cameraman, a control room engineer and a recurring guest analyst at Oswego’s student television station, WTOP-10.

Outside the radio industry Mullhaupt spent a good deal of time becoming a well-rounded media professional. In the summer of 2013 he was a video production intern with the New York-Penn League’s Hudson Valley Renegades. The following summer he worked as a production intern at WFAN in New York City. From 2013 to this past summer Mullhaupt served as a PR/Gameday intern for the New York Collegiate Baseball League.  Through the past three years he’s been a contributor to multiple independent sports journalism websites, covering the NFL and MLB.
